Consumer Movers Exchange. We are a matching and placement marketing
service enterprise. We provide consumers with every access to the
different trades for service for movers of freight - garbage - dirt -
furniture - laborers etc. Consumers are invited to use our services
through special incentives and marketing campaigns that bring them to our
site daily. You can see these requests yourself and are invited to make
bids on jobs that reflect your expertise. Try it. Only registered members
can place and receive bid confirmations.
How do you get started: You need to be in business providing any one of
the services mentioned above. You must have the appropriate license and
insurance. [This is necessary for identification and security. Payment -
consumer protection and yourself for damages - we do not provide
insurance!]
Log onto our site and fill out a contract application. You can place as
many respectable bids as you like. Upon receiving your official
information you will be furnished with an account number and you can start
reviewing the listing as they come in and make your offer. You will be
identified by your account number, business name. when a customer makes
a selection you will be contacted by email, fax, etc. You must include
your account number on all correspondence. When making payments, you must
have your account number ready. The customer will have their account
number ready (plus any listing) to start payment. All payment
arrangements must start before all the furniture is unloaded!

enterprise we do not provide insurance. We provide you with an opportunity
to find jobs of which we take a percentage of the total cost as
compensation, for this service.
Exchange Rules
Rule #1 all payments are made by debit card or credit card ,other. For
all other payment types please call ahead. For accuracy customers and
movers must be present when making payment and have their account numbers
ready.
Rule #2 Failure to make payment as arranged - there is a 50% surcharge for
payments not executed. This is in addition to total cost of a job.
Rule #3 Business without the internet - receiving information on job
business must have a fax machine or other means of receiving text (list of
items). Businesses can also be alerted via phone, voice mail or e-mail on
different listing . You can also use the same means to respond.
Rule #4 How the Exchange gets Paid - The Exchange is paid a percentage of
the total cost of the job which is usually between 9%-12% of total cost.
After payment is collected from customer. payment to us (consumer movers
exchange ) must reach us within 5 business day.
This can be deposited into our account via debit card. Check card or check
to “ consumer movers exchange”, PO box 9012 Alexandria, Virginia
22304. We will furnish our account number upon registration.
Rule #5 Total cost consists of any packing - walking distance from truck
to home including number of floors - distance from elevator to home and
truck (there is an allowed distance)
The process of moving articles - furniture - freight items, etc. presented
by customer from listing - [plus any additional pieces of which will be
subject to other cost if they are not part of original listing] the
moving of such items from one home to deliver to another home. This also
includes multiple stops and pick- up of other items for delivery - the
moving of furniture (items) inside home - the assembly or disassembly or
both - a flight is a group of steps that lead to a landing [this first
flight and anything over is subject to extra charges]
First discuss all items to be moved with the customer - have listing
present. Develop an understanding of what items to move and cost plus
method of payment. Movers have the right to refuse jobs. Movers have the
right to inspect jobs.
Rule #6. Movers must have consumer sign listing and any other appropriate
receipt or document.
Rule #7 Movers unable to perform a job please notify Exchange within 24
hours.
Rule #8 Movers must start payment procedures before all furniture is
unloaded.
Rule #9 This is a paid for performance Exchange - members only.
Rule #10 If there is a change to job please notify Exchange.
Rule #11 If customer wishes to add other items - please add additional
pieces to original listing and have the customer sign. Copy of additional
pieces to original listing must be sent to the Exchange. The cost of
additional pieces are subject to normal general governing rates.
Rule #12 If customer wishes to place new additional items on Exchange,
please inform to do so.
Rule #13 After addition new items to original listing - upon customer
approval movers must total and call this a New total.
Rule #14 Mover will see all information necessary to make an informed
decision.
Rule #15 Vendor must not do any job that will compromise their safety, the
customer's safety, safety to furniture - building, animals or others.
Rule #16 Movers must have permission from customer to enter home -
driveway and compound.
Rule #17 Movers are responsible for moving or perform those things
described by customer and are on listing .
Rule #18 Movers are responsible for any damages [please see your insurance
coverage] www.consumermoversexchange.com is a matching placement
marketing enterprise. We do not provide insurance.
Rule #19 Jobs not listed on our Exchange are not our responsibility if
performed by members.
Rule #20 Movers; Your account number is used to identify you. Upon
selection of a price by consumer your full information will be revealed at
which time mutual contact can be made.
Rule #21 Customers have a right to choose next mover: Failure of movers
(members) to report for job on time will prompt consumers to choose the
next mover (member) in line based on price preference.
There will be three (3-10) movers (members) selected by consumer in order
of prices. This is formulated to eliminate tardiness!! If movers (members)
cannot report for any reason please contact the exchange and customer
within ample time before scheduled move time and date for(job).
Rule #22
We take no responsibility for damage to
persons, building or any other physical or non physical entity. We are a
matching and placement marketing enterprise. We Do Not provide insurance
for jobs performed by our members!!!
Rule #23 Cash or Check - Must be authorized by Exchange before acceptance.
